Ever since we found out about the Living Nativity in Alpine we have made it part of our Christmas Traditions. This year was SUPER COLD though and we wished we had dressed a little warmer. Luckily Tiffany was smart enough to bring hand warmers so the kids at least thought they were warm! We loved having the Robinsons go with us this year and hope they will go again next year too! They load you up into horse trailers with bails of hay to sit on...kind of like a hay ride without the cold wind in your face and drive you up to an amazing piece of property with barns and acres of land to make it feel like your on a real journey (away from the big city life of Alpine UT. Ha! )I love all the live animals: horses, camels, donkeys, lamas, sheep, swans, etc. They do a fantastic job of staging and acting out the city of Bethlehem and the manger. It really helps with kids remember what we are really celebrating! And at the very end you get hot chocolate!! So worth freezing to death!

THANK YOU so much for inviting us. Next time I think I will put the hand warmers in my boots. So glad we did something specail that involved something other than trees and lights.
That looks so awesome! I'll have to put that on our list of things to do next Christmas!
